I let the slab of Leopardskin Jasper that I got at the rock show last Friday jump to the front of the line. I really wanted to try a piece. It was softer than I expected. Anyway, dremeled it at lunch and thought I'd post a pic before it went in the rotary. Speaking of which, if anyone has tumbled this in a rotary I'd be curious to see how it went. Thanks.

I have TUMBLED a lot of this material. Soft for sure. Started with 220. Do not leave in tumbler long. Keep checking as material is soft.

Great job on that shape. I like it! Beautiful colors in that piece.

Great job on that shape. I like it! Beautiful colors in that piece. Thank you! I posted a pic of the slab in a previous post, I kind of wish I had purchased more. It's a thinner cab than I usually do and rather large, about 2 inches long I think. There was so much that I wanted to buy at the rock show- huge rough chunks of Tiffany Stone and Crazy Lace, stuff like that. Maybe next year!
