Yeah I use 1/2 round to bind the wires together, but that is 4 wires. 1-staight 2-twisted 3&4 straight. I use as many wires as I need to get over the top edge of the stone and still be able to pull the bottom one in a bit. On a thicker stone I may use 6 wires. But I don't think I ever use less than 3. And then it has to be a very thin stone and trap tightly with the middle wire. -Banjo

Hey guys. Excellent looking pendant. The wrap really enhances the stone and visa versa. Everytime I've tried wrapping a stone, it looks like I took a coil out of an old radio, unraveled the wire and tried to put the stone in the center of the coil. She's gonna love it John, and the crystal too. Ed
