I keep finding stuff in my Riker boxes. The first one was one I recut of a cab my wife bought years ago. It cam out nice except for the matrix in the center wouldn't polish. I have no idea what it is. The second one is cab my wife bought around the same time. I'm guessing this one is Clay Canyon but have little experience with the material

I looked up pictures and cabs for sale and that is probably a very good ID including the exposed matrix. My wife was a serious cab collector 15-20 years ago and that is what is got me started in lapidary. She would buy based on how the material looked and when she didn't like the shape or design she thought it could be recut later. I wasn't sure if I ground off the blue (or gray because I have a blue/gray color vision issue) when I recut and redomed. It seems to be typical of the material. She doesn't like the design on the other cab recutting would probably be bad idea.

The second one could also be Clear Creek Plasma Agate.

The second one could also be Clear Creek Plasma Agate. I've got some plasma agate and made a cab. It is much different than what I have. I searched the web and saw pictures of clear creek that match the second cab very closely.

The first one strongly reminds me of #8 Mine turquoise. The second one could be Plasma agate as Beth said. It's such a small sample photo tho it's hard to tell if the agate is transparent or not. If it is then I would lean towards a plume agate like graveyard point.

The coloration of your turquoise is a good match. The second cab is very opaque. I've had a lot of GP and Regency Rose and this quite dissimilar.
