Between 2004 and 2010 I bought most of the Tahoma on auction from ebay seller roughntumble. I made between 70-80 cabs. I have a few pieces left but am not excited to work on them. I finished working on three narrow slabs where the shape was dictated as long an thin. The first one came out better than the slab and is what a person hopes for. The next one has very special color and reminds me of flame. The third was a remant from making the second cab and the last is from a slab that I bought more recently. I made three cabs from it and htey are all similar and not special. I have been searching ebay, etsy and the web for more material and there is almost nothing and nothing that is special. I'll keep looking. Four completed today.

Tahoma is a jasper-agate that comes from the Mt. Ranier area of Washington.

I will see one of the partners in the Tahoma claim Sunday, most likely, at the southern WA club show. he's been a vendor there for years, and at our show as well. If I remember I'll ask him about availability.

I have some material that a client in Australia identified as Tahoma Frog skin agate. Looking around the web it does match some things that share that name. Seems to be a rare one. What I have came from the stock of a closed rock shop I purchased several years ago.
Not sure if it is related but it looks a lot like that last square one you posted. What do you think?
Here are a few cabs I have cut from it

That is beautiful material and is a unique stone. Tahoma comes in a lot of flavors and the squarish cab is just dark Tahoma. The slab looked like a circus lion and I only took if the minimum possible material but it still lost detail.

Charles mined the Tahoma, frog skin, and some similar stuff he calls grass agate, or something like that. I have an unfinished piece of the Frogskin out in the shop, should get to it soon.

I bought a piece of Tahoma on auction on ebay and the same seller has some slabs. Tahoma is a jasper/agate and the best search is Tahoma slab or Tahoma rough. This seller had his Tahoma under agate. When I don't have slabs to work on, I sometimes do fixes or recuts. The before of this cab is what happens when I have too much material and not enough ideas. I like the color and will remark the bottom and finish it.

stardiamond Charles was there today but no Tahoma, he may bring some to the Portland regional show in a couple of weeks. As it turns out, while he was one of the people who originally found it someone else claimed it. He says they are talking about opening it back up, but may call it Vanity hill agate instead of Tahoma.

I found someone on ebay who is selling Tahoma. I got a small piece of rough and 3 small slabs. He also had some nice Willow Creek that I bought. Yesterday, was the most I bought on ebay for a long time. I also got a couple of small pieces of Morgan Hill.
