So this fellow Charles is the gentleman who mined the Frogskin agate (I was lucky enough to meet the miner and purchase some of his Frogskin in Portland just after his find.) does anyone have any photo's of the "Grass agate" Charles is mining?

Thanks Harold, I just finally saw the pic and it clicked. Wow, it's been a long time, hope you guys are doing well. I'm still running the Nelson Lap I got from you. We got some pieces of the grass agate same time we got the frogskin, first time he was at the Mt Hood show. No idea where I put it. |

As for the frogskin,when I got it from Charles I didn't feel like I was good enough to cab it yet, probably right, so I put it away and forgot where. A couple months ago I found it again and put a piece aside to cut, and it's right next to the genie with a few other bits I need to finish. As soon as We get past finishing up with an estate we were helping with and get our winterizing done I'll be back in the shop. Oh, wait, we'll be looking for retirement property in AZ. I'm beginning to understand how my retired friends end up busier than before they retire. |

I messaged the ebay seller and he put out two slabs and a small piece of rough. Another seller put out a small piece of rough. I snagged them all and will be able to make some cabs when the material arrives. All the pieces were what I was looking for.

I spend some time trying to reload material and I can finally say that for a while my reload is complete. I got these Tahoma slabs recently. The one the left is very unusual.  |
