Nice. Does the last one contain some type of ore? Yep, tons of what I assume is pyrite. The end cut, one slab and the larger piece all have lots so thinking it's all the way through. Haven't seen anything like it

When it come to rocks, I never assume. MI is filled with ore. You might have found something better than pyrite.

Comes across as silver color to me. Rub you thumb across it and smell. Pyrite and silver smell different.

I read nitric acid would turn pyrite black and do nothing to gold.
I tried a diluted nitric acid on it and it did nothing... next is trying straight stuff I guess..
Straight acid also does nothing.. gold ?
