No, chlorite. Chlorite can occur as an impurity in quartz and nephrite, but isn't a major component. Seraphinite has more of it. Soft and easy to shape with most any tool, but fragile and I'm amazed even part of it survived that long.

Wow very interesting! Looks like they will have to rewrite the history books again. The next article Astronaut's 'Space Map' leads to amazing discovery in Caribbean was also very interesting too.

Stuff is easily worked just using granite cobbles. I don't mean to demean this ancient jeweler. Indeed, I couldn't make this bracelet.
