Does anyone know the arbor shaft Diameter for the Lortone LST 12 slab saw. I am restoring one and want to get the proper sized blade for the shaft.
Thank you.

I just found an LST12 on Craig’s, and cannot find any info online for pre LS12 saws, or parts. Anyway, the arbor shaft is 3/4” between the bearings, then steps down to threaded 5/8” for the flanges and blade arbor. Luckily this old LST12 had an extra blade, functional motors, and only needed re-wiring and 8 hours of gunk removal to get running. However, Most of the new 12” blades ive looked at seem to have a 1” arbor, so I guess bushings would have to be used. www.hplapidary.com/en/blade-bushings If you do use bushings the current flanges need to be snug enough against the blade arbor to keep the bushing in place, I was told some flanges don’t contact the blade close enough to keep the bushing in place, which could be a bad combo. Anyway good luck with the restoration!
