Picked up this slab from the rock show for a buck, I couldn't resist the colors. I should probably know what it is but I can't remember.... Super soft, I think it took about a half hour to shape them. Thanks for looking!

Reminds me of copper ore. Great find and shaping. Thanks. I'm actually experimenting with them as we speak. I put them in the 3 pound barrel with my other stuff, even though these are quite a bit softer. I'm hoping that just a couple of days in 80 grit will be good, then when I move them along they'll have plastic pellets for cushioning. We'll see.
