No,it was a preform that has been in my stash for a long time. I know what you mean about it not being quite right though. Something about the agate running through it perhaps. I just don't know quite enough about my rocks to be able to identify some of them.

Is it possible that the first one is Tabu Tabu?

The tabu in the other thread had fading from red to pink and even to white in the breccia. This does not.

I'm sure this could be found in many places. Cady Mtns sure do produce similar material. I've seen Brenda Arizona have similar and no doubt there are Nevada locales with similar materials
