I've been working on the bargain Morgan Hill, scraps and a piece of Willow Creek I gto on Ebay. I completed 4 and the 5th was A Morgan Hill that developed vugs and went from a 40x30 pear to a 40x24 pear, to a truncated 40x24 pear to a free form and the vug disease kept spreading. It's kind of frustrating with the MH knowing that I can't make a cab without soem defect. Bad light so I need to rephotograph these. Willow Creek with a surface fracture up from the lower left corner. I had to make it a flat top to maintain the pattern. It took a mirror polish but is flawed. Pietersite that is slightly chatoyant on the bottom. I did a less than perfect job but about the best I can do now. Morgan hill with a pin scratch fracture on the girdle. Morgan Hill with a pin scratch fracture/vug in tne lighter material lower right which is probably acceptable.
