In spite of the fact that I've been sick since Saturday, the surprises I
got today made up for everything!! First let me say a very special
"Thank you" to Banjo for the super birthday present that arrived today.
Mike ... I still can't believe it, this was so nice of you.
Ok ... Check this stuff out, am I going to have some fun or what!
First we have Hickoryite ... the big one is about the size of a softball.
That band in the middle looks white but actually has a bluish tint.
Next we have Jelly Bean Jasper, these are about the size of tennis balls.
Are these colors incredible or what?
And last but not least, we have some of that beautiful agatized pet wood.
The pics just don't do this stuff justice, it's amazing!
I so wanted some of this petwood and had contacted Banjo to see what
he was asking for it and mentioned that I was hoping to get some $$ for
my birthday to buy some with. You can imagine what a delightful surprise
it was when the maillady came to my door with these boxes.
Thank you again Mike, this is totally awesome stuff. I'm telling you folks,
this stuff is gorgeous. If you want something really cool to polish, you
should give Mike a holler. I've gotten other stuff from him and he packs
a mean box of rocks!
Oh yeah ... I did mention boxES didn't I, that will be another post.
