Dude is hoping for a "drunk buy". Someone will see it, fawn over it and buy it, while drunk or stoned.

Pretty sure he meant inches not mm's. Still way over the top.

I have no artistic training. It's I know what I like. As cabbing material, I see a really nice scene in the upper left. The rest is nothing special. Some slabs have a better scene than what can be shown in a cab. The scene in the slab seems disjointed and I would cut it up. I'm learning more and more about how to appreciate how people have different tastes. It will be interesting to see what it goes for other than offer accepted.

This same seller very often has really good quality Owyhee for sale. I have gotten several lots and have been very happy. However- THAT lot is not worth what he wants. He had a really super sweet one a few weeks ago that I passed on and wished I hadn't. I was watching it, but someone snatched it up. It was a good deal on a nice slab.

I don't see a problem with this. The seller is obviously not targeting the lapidary market with this, rather he's hoping to sell to the collectors market. There can't be that many double-face polished slabs of original owhyee out there for sale, and the price reflects that. Price is high for a lapidary slab, but maybe not so much for a collectible.

That listing just says ended not sold. You can search sold listings with that exact title on ebay. That search shows what his stuff has been selling for. Some for as low as $25 but one of his did sell for $140 and it was ony 5"x4" x 5.5mm thick. Sold AAA Owyhee slabsChuck
