I just finished these. One of my goals with tumbling was to do sets of thin stones for simple jewelry sets. Just finished my first set with scrap wire. I made some earrings yesterday and gave them to daughter before I got a pic. These are graveyard point plume agate. I messed up when I was laying them out and forgot to flip the template for mirror image. Still worked out ok, but could have been better. I'll know better next time! LOL! Quickie pix. The pattern for the earrings was supposed to be like this.

I messed up when I was laying them out and forgot to flip the template for mirror image. Except for length, close is usually good enough for earrings - difficult to view both sides of a person's head at the same time (except if there is a mirror in the background, in which case: problem solved). Even if exact matches, many people's ears aren't exactly even. Can be a slight issue when displayed close together in a box (hang 'em on a rack or display head, and no one notices). Yours are so close that I doubt buyers will pick up on that at all, though it might irritate you The flame shape is perfect for that pattern!

There is a jumpring at the earwire so it turns. While being worn, I think both sides will be seen.

Those are really pretty! How big are those cabs, Tela? I might have to get me a Lot-O to do stones like that for earrings. I think it's a great idea.
No one will notice that they're not exactly matched. They're really close.

Thanks! The earring stones are 32mm x 19mm and with the silver weigh only 5 grams. They are only 4mm thick.
