This batch consists of Sunset Jasper, Unakite and a few odds and ends - tigereye, Blue lace, mex lace, aventurine, botswanas, pet wood, carnelian, etc. The Sunset Jasper took an excellant shine, I hope it shows up in the pictures. This batch (or batches) was polished on a lortone 33b. The sunset jasper got polished in cerium oxide and the rest were polished in Tin Oxide. Both barrels ran for two weeks. I thought the cerium oxide polished better than the tin oxide. Not sure what the rocks looked like after one week, I didn't even check! I got busy and just let it go.

Redwood-
Well my daughter and I just "oohed and awed" at those beauties.
Great polish. What are the yellow ones in picture 2?

Gorgeous Cal, what fun colors and beautiful shine. Gaetz, that is Sunset Jasper, it takes an unbelievable polish. Reds and yellows mixed with hematite, it's just cool.
That Unakite is neat, reminds me of some stuff I picked up in Lake Superior.

Very nice Cal. That is the best polish I've ever seen on Sunset Jasper. It looks like you even got those hematite bands to shine. That is a cool stone the way you got it shimmering there. Excellant!

hey Cal, nice rocks! altho i must admit, ever since Doc called unakite "vomit stone" i have never been able to look at it in the same regard.
nice shine on the Sunset, love the banding on that! i see that botswana peeking out? and i see you still have some Blue Lace bouncing around.
thanks for sharing! KD

I'm starting to feel inadequate, ever since seeing all these fantastic pics of rocks, I've been putting all my rocks back into coarse (they're never coming out of there it seems). Maybe you guys are raising the bar too high for us newbies. Would you mind posting pictures of your crappy loads (I'm hoping you guys still have some of those), so I can feel better?
