James got me nervous and jerky about leaving stuff in polsih too long, so after 7 days, i pulled these out. also today i had an eye appointment and my eyes were so dilated that i couldn't do much else! here is some of the mediocre mex lace that i got from Kingsley a while back, some of it is not bad: here is a preformed piece of Binghamite that i first sawed and then practiced on the grinder with. i was desperate for some tumbleable material when it was still to cold too work downstairs so i tossed this and a piece of sodalite in: Hey Cher..! that Binghamite is local to you! (hint hint), you should try and find some this summer! thanks for looking, KD

HUH?? You mean this piece? Ok, tell me more. I didn't know this was local to me. How did you find out ... how can I find out more? I'd love to find some stuff like that. Cher PS ... Dang, I'm sorry. Meant also to say that your rocks are totally gorgeous. What did you mean about James making you nervous about leaving rocks in the polish too long?

Oh My - KD,
You really need to quit doing this ... posting all of these gorgeous photos of your stones ...
When I go upstairs ... my wife asks me ... "why is your shirt all wet?" ... and I trry to tell her the truth ... and I get an "Uh... Huh" ;D
Simply spectacular!

The area that contains the Binghamite is located about 125 miles away from me. Will have to check things out this summer to see if there's any possibility of rockhounding in that area. Looks like it polishes beautfully.

"Helagood" You know, NoDoubt did the song "Helagood".... "Ya got me feelin helagood so I'm gonna keep on dancin..." Ahem ;D

I am curious also about the polish thing. What would happen if I leave them in, say 2 weeks or 2.5 weeks?

Nice batch, especially the lace. My luck with that is not very good.
James' "Tigereye Heaven" - he mentions it getting "banged up" in polish.

Excellent batch! WOWSER!
I think all you great GODS of tumbling will have to start posting very crappy batches as my rocks seem to be in coarse since forever - I'm getting so picky after seeing your amazing batches that mine may never make it to the 220 stage as they keep going back to coarse. I'm trying to be patient but my patience as well as my coarse grit is running thin...
