Is that a rifle barrel sticking out that window above him to the left?

You should of seen my new neighbor last night. About a 200lbs black bear. Got my heart beating a tad.

I remember as a child many deer in our yard. One time a neighbor was driving by and saw one. He got out of his truck and pointed his rifle at the deer. The deer was about 10' from our house. The road was about 600' from house. The road was icy. Just as he pulled the trigger, he fell down. The shot went in the air. The buck ran away. My Grandpa and Uncle went out to the road to see if he was OK. "Thankfully", he was drunk, as usual. Not badly injured due to his body being limp. My Uncle took him home and my Grandpa parked his truck in our driveway. His wife was not amused. At the time there were laws against road hunting and pointing a rifle towards a house.

We have a lot of town deer, they're really not scared of anything. There's a big dog pen in our second lot that was there when we bought the house and this year that's where the tomatoes got planted just to keep them safe. The deer are always visiting the garden and they love to take just one bite out of a tomato and leave it.
