I have no idea what this is just got it today with two rocks of limestone. Threw the limestone by the pond, now they sit in the waterfall. Does anyone have an idea what it could be?

Hey Earthdog,
That looks to be Montana Agate, also known as Montana Moss Agate or Montana Dendritic Agate (if dendrites are present)-(they will generally be along the cracks, sealed seams and the outer edge of the stone).
This is hard material and it takes a spectacular polish. If you srat to find dendrites ... keep a close eye on them ... some of them resemble trees or other scenic views!
Nice piece of Montata there!

Wow that is gorgeous. Especially if you paid $5 or $6 bucks for it.
Looks like you got a pretty good deal after all.

I would say it is either Montana Agate or Black Skin Agate. They are both very similar in appearance. Either way, very nice.

Well, Sands, My saw is only a 7" so I'm gonna have to find someone that can cut me a couple of nice, smooth slabs off of it, then just sit the rest out with my other rough that is on the wifes buffet in the dining room.
