I posted a remark to BearCreekLapidary about his Botswana agate, and how I gotta get some of it, the next thing I knew he was asking me if I wanted some. Of course I said sure. for me just starting out in this hobby, and just joining this board, it showed me how nice and good alot of you are in here, and willing to help someone out. I have been on alot of boards, and this one is one of the best, as far as good people. enough of me going on, here, look at this, I just hope mine come out 1/2 as good as his... Thanks again BearCreekLapidary, you are too cool..

One day out of the blue, I got a phone call from Bearcreek. I am so used to writing on the forum, and talking at people, in my shop. I avoid people the rest of the time. John is a pretty decent person. It is a suprise to hear one of us. I also think he loves what he does.

I agree w/ other coments about how nice people are here, I've just been thrilled to have so many good people help me.

Wow those are great, I love Botswanna agate. I bought some rough the other week but not sure what to do with it, as the agate is barely visible, I think they will take weeks to grind down - any tips anyone to speed things up? Yes people are great here, and very friendly, its a great place
