I heart the heart. I know I attempted one once and have a template with different size hearts. Great job particularly the dome. I'm afraid if I attempted one my head would explode.

Nice first heart. Are you sure this is your first? Looks like you nailed it. Am sure your wife will love it. Haha yes definitely first attempt. I did spend about two hours looking at tips and tricks I could find on here before I went for it though. I learned the basics of cabbing over the past year from San Diego mineral and gem society. It also helped that this material turned out to be really easy to work with, it was quite forgiving!

The inward part between the two lobes was definitely the hardest part. I went a little too deep so I couldn’t grind it well. I ended up doing some hand sanding in there just to get it smooth before I polished it up. Eventually I’d like to try one that is dome shaped on both sides. Just seems even more challenging and I’m not sure if it’ll come out how I want.
