Did a tumbler check tonight and found this little guy. I threw a bunch of littles my mom and I have picked up along our recent adventures so am really uncertain of where this came from. Pretty sure its Petoskey or similar so am thinking we picked it up at Agate Beach up in Duluth

Cool find, found a small shark tooth in da lake. When you're looking always check the soft white limestone.

That would have been my guess also, obviously a petrified fish hook ! I would guess a size 6 or 8 long shank Eagle Claw brand !

yes it is a petoskey type Hexa-coral. The preservation is the same as petoskey. It has more likely been transported west by a tourist of one sort or another.
