Has anyone worked any serpentine from the Stifle claim near Placerville, CA? It's very soft and tends to break in flakes so almost surely not a candidate for tumbling, wondering about cabbing. Sure is purty.

Pretty! I have a soft spot in my heart for serpentine. So many variations. Interesting history. I have serpentine tiles, but have never done anything with serpentine except cut the tiles for coasters. Thanks!

Ahhh man that is beautiful. I wonder if it would polish up in a vibe with corn cob. I’d LOVE to see that polished up.

I have only had the green, didn't even know it came in blue
It takes a killer polish and is easy to cab. Very soft and it gets what I call "soapy" and very slippery

Back again and I gotta say, I think that’s the most beautiful rock I’ve ever seen. I’d probably have a stroke if I came across something like that in the wild.
