I found a .60 to .60+ uneven Blue Biggs on ebay. It was nice not exceptional and a bargain. My plan was to split it. There wasn't much margin for error. I marked a vertical and horizontal line on the 2x4 to align in the vise. I did an okay job. Could have done better or could have done worse. The slabs weren't as even as I would have liked. Fortunately the only scenes are in the middle.
The other slab looks the same and is soaking ina tub to remove the water glass.
