By the way, I'm putting these in separate posts because I know there are folks with slow connections, and I am trying to avoid driving people crazy with the slow downloads. Self indulgent, yes, totally inconsiderate, I hope not. Thanks again! These next 3 are all the same rock. I like it because it is the most hollow rock I've gotten a successful polish on, and yes, it is polished, whatever my rotten photos show. The last one is overexposed, I know, but it is the other side of the rock showing the cave within. Thank you again for looking!

Hi Pup, what a nice rock that is ...wouldn't mind finding it myself. I have found just the one agate in NZ sofar on a beach where they are very hard to find. I considered myself extremely lucky. I did find some very small pieces on an Oregon beach some years ago while visiting the States.
Thanks for sharing

Very exotic. Good work Puppie. Is that a hole in the rock on the first pict. Kinda looks like a wolf w/ a hole thru his face. very neat.

Yes Gaetz, that is a hole that goes all the way through. This rock was a tumbling dilemma. The longer I worked it, the more the banding started to show on the raised areas but it was clearly also thinning out -- to the point that it wore all the way through in that spot. I finally chickened out on further grinding and settled!

Hey Puppie, I for one greatly appreciate you doing multiple posts so they don't take so long to load. Being on dial-up is a drag sometimes. That rock is cool, talk about different finding one with a cave all the way through and getting it to polish. Now that's true patience and perseverence! Gotta wonder if those other spots would have worn through too like the bigger one did, I think you stopped just in time. Excellent job!!

The last one looks like a "nose" I love it! That would be really interesting with some emeralds coming out of the holes! - Yes I am a sick birdie! Take me as I am!
