Just finished the cutting on this one. I wish it were mine but this is one I cut for a friend. I will keep one of the good slabs for my efforts. I see a whole lot of great cabs in these photos. For size reference the larger ones are about 6" x 4.5" Thanks for looking Chuck

Wow! very nice pudding stone! When I first looked at it I thought the size was small - like 2" long.

I don't think I'd make cabs from that. I'd polish one or both sides and keep at a specimen. That's one heck of a rock. Is that the one from Alpena from your last show? Rob

Rob If it were my last pudding stone slab it might be in jeopardy of being cabbed but I don't think I will get that desperate anytime in the next decade. In my 9 years of doing this I have never face polished a slab. This one is tempting though. I will reluctantly say that yes this is the Alpena find. Don't rub it in too much. Chuck
