I'm starting with a couple of disappointments. Not in the polish, but both of these hearts that I made have cracks. If anyone has any suggestions on how to save them, please let me know... First, the heart that I was turning into a keychain for my daughter... And these three Mookalite cabs. I like this stuff, but again, the heart is cracked...

Could you attack #1 with the dremel to remove the area left of the crack? It could become a stylized heart, which I think would look cool.

You could use some Hot Shot or something to seal the cracks, but I think I like Beth's idea better on the first one.

Well, I fixed the heart today. I got rid of the cracked part on the left per fernwood 's suggestion. I also had a bit of undercutting on the right lobe, and when I went to fix it a big chunk fell off so I had to fix that also. As long as it makes it through the rotary unscathed, I think I might like it better. Thanks for looking!

Thanks Mike
That what I called it. Carving hearts that what is being done Many times
When I first started the rock’n idea I wasn’t to obsessed with shape or form I just knocked them out and figured It was something a rock hound or person could slap on If they wanted to rock the heart
soon found out that shape and form became an obsession mostly because that where the appeal was if rock'n hearts were ever going to become worth investing in a factory never really completely mastered the heart ran out of time
nonetheless it was the of best times for me rock hobby rocked kept me from other unsavory actions
I get the same vibe from you wish I could be of more assistance Rock on

You could of more assistance by showing some more of what you've made so I have something to aspire to. I've only been on here a little more than a year and have a feeling I've missed a lot of your work. Wanna hear something funny? This is probably the first actual hobby I've really had in my life- unfortunately I have more years behind me than ahead of me. And I have become, well, passionate about it. So, yeah, I could definitely be doing worse things than messing around with a few rocks! Besides, I left most of my unsavory years behind me long ago... Always rocking on, my friend.
