Due to a variety of reasons, it has been quite awhile since I was able to post any slab pictures. So I am going to get back in the swing of things now. If you know the ID's of any of these slabs, don't be shy about letting me know! These pics were taken wet indoors under a photography light but the colors seem a bit muted. I'll have to try adjusting the pics to more accurately represent what they really look like.
These images are on flickr and this is my 1st attempt posting them here, so let me know if the pics don't show up.
This first piece of rough was labeled "green banded rhyolite" but I assume it is incorrect! I started to cab a piece. The black is really soft but it looks like it might actually somewhat take a polish.

This slab almost looks like it could be interesting, but I am still on the fence about how much I like it!

This is supposed to be dumortierite. The bottom right hand side of the slab starts getting more and more white quartz mixed in later slabs.
