I tried to salvage something from the Willow Creek piece and trimmed a slab following the color line. The color is as thin as 1mm so I'll mark the edges and grind the bottom even and make a flat top. I cut two preforms between the fracture lines on the Morgan Hil. The larger one is absolutely clean and the second one has minor issues. I trimmed the remaining scene from an Owyhee slab and trimmed off the knife edges on a piece of Morrisonite so I can find the shapes.

Trimmed the Morrisonite preforms and am not optimistic. 11mm thick and the back isn't as nice as the front. I'll see what happens when grinding.
