I sent Kim a box of Montana rocks to slab up for me. This morning I got the first pics of some of the ones she has done and I am getting excited..... The first one I will call "Autumn Delight" because of the coloring in it...haven't decided what to name the others yet.... I just could not wait to share these with you guys....enjoy. Pho

I kinda thought the second one looked like 'head cheese'. Those slabs are going to be fun to work with. Are you cutting them down on a trim saw then?

Very nice slabs, you are going to have fun with them. Would love to know what that second one is, I see lots of similar stuff in Lake Superior.

Nice rocks Pho. No.2 is a Breccia , broken pieces cemented together again. Jack Is that what they call anything like that? Just Breccia? I have some stuff that's little pieces of red jasper and hematite but can't really see what's holding them together. I've found two different kinds of this stuff that looks the same, but one kind is like glass when you break it, the other is more like jasper when broken. I have a piece in the tumbler now that looks like the 2nd picture .... seems to be tumbling quite nicely. At least so far, it's not falling apart. Cher
