Hello fellow rock polishers! Just wondering if anyone knew where I could get some decent amethyst rough to make some cabs out of and what a fair price would be. I have someone I work with that wanted me to make them something from that material. I had a piece that I got really cheap at a rock show($2) and I now know why it was so cheap. It is basically all fractures so every time I try to work with it pieces just keep chipping off. Thanks!!

How big of a piece do you need? I wanted to make an oval that measures 1” x 3/4” so I guess enough to get about four of those. One for errors, one to give away and two for me!! |
