Dremeled these at lunch today. I thought I had a fairly stable slab, but I'm learning that Crazy Lace seems to do what it wants. Anyway, here's what I came up with- I think they'll polish up nice. Thanks for looking.

Nice — I really like your carnivore's tooth shape! Looks a little too wicked for my wheels, though. They'll both make great pendants.

It honestly wasn't what I was going for but after fractures and some chipping that's how it came out. I really do like crazy lace but it sure isn't the easiest to work with- in my very limited experience. 😁

Actually, I do have burs of various grits, so nothing is really stopping me, but I have nothing in low grits. After you mentioned tire burs I had to search for them. The ones I found are carbide. Do you happen to know what those go for?

Do you happen to know what those go for? Walt manofglass found these for me. Diamond Burrs, various grits available. Right now the 36 grit burrs are $36, they're out of 80 grit and 120 is $28 for a 50-piece set. I really like the 36 grit burrs. Full disclosure- I bought a set on Amazon for like $13, they're 120 grit. They're ok, but the ones from Jade Carver are much better. They're larger in diameter and way easier for me to control. jadecarver.com/product/50pc-large-burr-set/

You're welcome. I should have probably said that they're not all tire burrs- but a good portion of the set is. I should also probably experiment with different shaped burrs, but for now I'm able to just use those for what I do.

Not sure what the difference is, but MLS has burrs and bits listed in the catalog starting around page 40 lapidarysupplies.com/
