Wondering if anyone here has this saw and could get me some photos of the feed clamp parts . I am missing some parts and can't build or buy parts if I don't know what is missing . Photos would be appreciated , either here or in a PM . Thanks

Thanks for the researching . But as you say , not a lot of help with the photos there . Larry quartz sent me some VERY detailed descriptions of the part that is missing , that I think even I can fabricate .

The grandkids from Jenkins Lapidary out of Portland Oregon still have all the parts for the Royal lapidary saws. I had a phone number but the last time I called it was disconnected. If you can track down the grandkids you can order whatever parts you are missing.

Hopefully someone can though , seems to be quite a few others here who would be interested also .

Wonder if the Mt. Hood lapidary club would be of assistance?

Wonder if the Mt. Hood lapidary club would be of assistance? Be worth a try . I'm a member and our shop has a 18" royal, basically the same saw. I also have a pic from the craigslist ad I had for one that I sold a couple weeks ago. Shows a tiny bit more than the worthpoint pics. Last I heard Royal was in Newport Oregon, their website has disappeared. If you can find contact for Roosters rock shop, also in Newport, you may be able to get in contact with them.

Thanks I know it’s probably been fixed already but what I did was to have the proper sized nut welded to a smaller vice grip pliers and then cut it in half usin this contraption as the auto feed clamps when mine wore out. Works great but not the prettiest solution. - what I’m having issues with is the carriage has side to side movement. Kinda sloppy after years of use.

there are adjusters that go to the rails to tighten the side play - are these adjusters already mounted under the carriage?
