I thought I'd share recent pieces, since I finally made myself take pictures! First is boulder opal in copper. I purchased the cab at a rock show. Then Ocean Jasper in sterling. Ha, the pink highlights are not the wire, it's a reflection of my top. The cab is made by Clint Gardner. My recent obsession was learning about micro macrame, after seeing the pictures Fish posted here. I started with tutorials to learn/remember how (I was a 70's kid that made BIG macrame planters, purses, belts!) and these two are my own pieces. Also a nice way to use the big cabs, since I prefer smaller cabs to wrap in wire. I cabbed these two; Mexican crazy lace, and Rolling Hills dolomite.

That's some serious eye candy! LOVE the OJ, it's like something from Lord of the Rings. The macrame is really good! I made the plant hangers and purses, too. Don't know that I could do that. They are both beautiful.

Jeez. I give up. Just teasing, that's some excellent craftsmanship. No way do I have that much talent- or patience!
