i did just like bearcreek said and this is how they came out --- i think there pretty cool thanks john for the info i forgot the two on the ends on the bottom didnt go in the oven --------- so before and after

Hey Sands, those came out pretty well. I like the bright colour bands. They willl look great polished.

Can you do that to polished pieces? I got a bag (from years ago) that is just itching to be drilled-and strung- and some red would be cool!

stefan i think you could but have you ever seen a rock that was in a fire it has a dullness to it allmost an ashy look you would prob have to run in pre and polish again but i think it would work--- they took all day to do i just set my cooking timer and every hr i turned it up 50 degrees and after an hr on 500 i just shut and let cool for an hr or two im not sure i just left them alone when i did open the oven i could pick them up with my fingers
i dont know what happens with the blue stuff but it will prob change but i dont know to what maybe redish blue

Oh Boy! They look G R E A T. I cannot wait to give it a try. Now all I have to do is get more Tiger Eye.
