- Sorry, trying to get a pic. hosting set up - Headed out to the Cady's, Afton Canyon, Blue Bell mine, Opal locality, Thulite and more a few weekends back. Dying to get back out there, but headed back home to Tokyo for Ishi Flea Market takama.ne.jp/isi_fleamarket/ and Tokyo Gem and Mineral show. I'll post an update about those so people can see what is going on over in Japan. Anyway, here are some of the finds. We found a lot of most of this material. It was incredible.

If the photos are already uploaded to Flickr (or another hosting site), all you need is the BB code to put them on this forum. Make sure you grab a size appropriate BB code for a smaller photo. There is a drop down menu with various sizes. 600 wide works about the best for everyone, I have found. Flickr offers 640, that'll work.
Welcome to the forum. Member since 2013?? Hope you start posting more frequently!

Some of us went on an RTH outing six years ago. Here's a link to the thread for the field trip here: "NORTH CADY MTNS - 11/2013 - many images here"
The first seven pages of that thread are the lead-up to the field trip. First photos, such as they are now (Thanks a bunch for blurring them, PB!) HERE

Haven't used forums in a while and just forgot to put the link in the right place. The spot out by the fluorite mine is a real treasure. A full mountain of agates and jaspers. I even found a bunch of silver lace onyx which surprised me, but probably shouldn't have since Calico is nearby. I didn't get anything with the yellow in it like you guys did back in 2013, but I got some crazy lace agates which also surprised me. I will indeed try to post more.

Really nice finds and that opal is gorgeous. Have fun in Japan Thanks Alikat. That is the third opal that size I have found in the desert. Lots of smaller ones, but the big ones are the ones that count. I will indeed have fun back in Japan. Gems and minerals are really booming over there right now so business is good.
