So I only have a tile saw to cut rocks with and pretty sure I bent the arbor last time I used it. Jammed up the blade trying to cut a rock too big for the saw. Didnt plan to cut anything until i found another cheap saw. But got impatient so picked up a blade from store on way home and decided to cut some of the pet wood I've collected from san jacinto river last cpl times out. Managed to get several decent cuts before the blade started hammering and vibrating too much to use. Anyhow, here are some of the most interesting ones. Pls excuse the saw marks... thanks for looking!

To be honest, I know very little about rocks. Have tough enough time correctly identifying basic things like agates, jaspers etc. Lol. But there's lot of very knowledgeable members here that can probably answer your question. Interested to know as well.

This explains what minerals were found in the different colored wood along the San Jacinto.
