the shine on the second batch is far superior than the first . although i do like that little stripey guitar pick shaped banded number in the first batch (shown in 1st and 6th pic). very nice batch, chassroc, well done! KD

Nice shine all around Chassroc. Great colors too! Love the rose quartz, that's really nice looking, and the banded stuff too. Gee, I just like the whole lot of it. Good job!

Hey Chas, nice looking batches there. One of these days someone will come up with a way of polishing quartz without fracturing. Nice variety of stones and colors and great shine. What's next?

A guy at a local Cape May rockshop told me that they use plastic punchouts from plastic soda bottles. they use those round paper punchers, you can get the 3 in a row type at Staples, saves your fingers! They said they slow the stones down and protect somewhat from the inpact with other stones. I've tried it and it works ok so far, nothing different than the plastic pellets except the price and they don't float, no biggy. I figgur it's recycling and they can be used over and over just label them with the grit they were used with, just you would plastic pellets. Have fun and experiment, I love trying new stuff! Marian

They turned out great, and yes the one you have a question on is rose quartz. I love the shine that comes up on those so I do alot of it. Tami
