petoskeycheryl - if you hover over someone's screen name their tag will show. Not everyone's screen name is their tag, so it's always better to check. You can also click the @ symbol in the menu bar and just type the user name in.

How do I tag another member who had responded to my post? There are two other ways of "tagging" or getting the attention of someone you want to notify about your post. First, you can simply quote their post, as I did in this case with you. With the quote feature, they will be notified of your post. You can also tag by using the tagging button in the "reply" or "create post" box. Formatting buttons can only be seen there. The "tag" button is the middle button in the far right set of buttons. It is the one with the @ next to a blue figure. When you click that button, a dialogue box will open. Simply start typing the display name, and potential matches will populate below the search box. Simply select the person you are trying to tag, and you're good to go. ETA: Oops, I didn't read all of Robin's hummingbirdstones post to you. Looks like she touched on the tagging button as well.
