No wood strip for the bottom of the clamp? Any particular reason for it? The nuts dont let the redi rod drop further. Set rod depth and srcew on nut then tighten.

Probably a more secure grip on the rock.
The strip could be secured under the nuts or just drilled to clear them.

Well that’s not fair. You already have kangaroos which is cool enough, but now I find out you have really amazing rocks as well. Not to mention a sweet accent. Yea, totally not fair.

RocksInNJ I agree some fabulous rocks come from down under but those ones came from Ebay. I'm from up above lol where the moose are plentiful and unless your from Newfoundland the only accent I have is eh!

I'm from up above lol where the moose are plentiful and unless your from Newfoundland the only accent I have is eh! Ah ok, we’ll that makes me feel a little better lol. I have to stay away from EBay. It tends to make me a little crazy and leaves me with an empty wallet.
