Finished Antelope Cab

I just have to post this thing!
I like it so much, I've taken a week to try to come up with which sort of wrap I'm gonna do on it.
I found it in one of my many loads of rocks and it was just about the size you see here and didn't need a whole lot of shaping.
No trim saw was involved in the making of this cabachon.
It is 1 1/4" high and 3/8" wide.
I believe I now have a new favorite stone.
For this month anyway ;D
It's sitting on a little piece of beeswax, in case you were wondering???





I'll try to remember to post the finished piece once it is completed.
P.S. Yes, I am still tumbling stones.
But I've got some of the fossil Agate in 60/90 that is going to be beautiful, but it is going to need a lot of time in the rough, and I've got it in both 15# Thumblers. (A real lack of foresight displayed with that decision)

The pictures under tungsten light are always hard to get good or correct color.
It is wrapped in Gold, and I wanted it to be simple, so it doesn't detract from the stone.
But I know there are a few of you who wanted to see it finished.
AND even a picture of the back thrown in.
