Latest batch- self collected material. Most being from river gravel. Lots of fractures became visible when shaping them in coarse for week or two. Lots of the red rocks developed small pits too. not wanting to waste too much time, grit, barrel space on them I decided to move many along still with small flaws. Not sure I'm too happy with my decision. I should have done better job cleaning the flaws out between stages but damn, its tedious work cleaning out all those tiny pits ! Here is group shot- Few pieces of pet wood (only ones of the bunch I can correctly identify!) The reds- The rest- Some of my favorites of the bunch- Oh, forgot to mention that these have only gone thru 36 hrs sic120/220 and 96 hrs Ao500 in Lot O. Thought they have pretty good shine already so wasnt planning on running them through polish stage when took pics. Have since changed my mind and just put them in polish stage. Interested to see if will produce any noticeable difference when done.. thanks for looking!

Those are some nice rocks. They have a great shine after the 500. Wonder what they will look like after polish.

Wow, great shine on those for no polish stage. Great photos too. Wish I could figure out how to get such nice pics. Mine always get blurry when you zoom in.

Nice batch. Great shine. I often debate going past 500 or 1000 with agates and jaspers in the lot-o but always end up doing it anyway to make sure I did all I could to get the best possible finish.

What a nice batch! They look great without the polish stage. Please post pics when you get them out of polish. I'd be interested in seeing if there's much difference after polish, too.
Thanks for posting these!

Chuck Thanks! yeah that's why I changed my mind and threw them in polish. Just a cpl days time and half teaspoon polish to be sure they get best they can.
