Local find from an area I've been frequenting a lot the last two years. It will be closed off to public access in January because the Navy is expanding their training range. This might be the best piece I've found out there. Found Sunday, cut yesterday. Seemed kind of appropriate holiday cheer. ETA: The 4th photo is even lousier than the others but I like it because it shows how transparent the agate is. 3/16" slabs and one can see my finger through it. Thanks for looking. Argh

What a shame you won't be able to pick any more of that after January. I think I'd fill my truck up 😅 Such beautiful contrast! Maybe someday the Navy will allow access again.

Beautiful stuff. I hate when you lose access to places that you’ve visited for many years. I totally feel your pain and hope you’re able to pull out lots of amazing stuff before then. Most everything here in southern New Jersey is private property, making it almost next to impossible to enjoy my outdoor hobbies.
