I love Crepe Myrtle trees. My daughter has them in front of her house. They are very popular landscaping trees here. Love the mimosa, too. I have one outside my kitchen window.

The scent of Mimosa is heavenly. Ahh yes, the fine smell of Champagne and orange juice does that. The flowers smell good too.

I was talking about the flowers, not the drink. Plus I love their appearance.

Low pressure has moved in from the Gulf and brought us cooler weather (79°) along with some rain. The goldfish in my aquarium are having a great day today. They live in this garden pond year-round as it never ices over. I took off the protective screen for photos. I've had local predators nab one or two on occasion and had to cut a piece of welded wire mesh and cover it with chicken wire for their protection. Haven't lost another one since.

Wow now that’s something that I have never fished for (exotic golden trout) they don’t look very big gonna need quite a few for a mess. They don’t look much bigger then a nice sized smelt so about a quart will make a nice fish fry.
I’ll get the bait you ice the beer and light the grill I’ll be over and we can get that fish fry going

Thanks Beth. Around the pond are KY geodes, SC pink granite, FL coral, NC epidote, GA rose quartz, GA jasper, NC chalcopyrite and pyrite, pet wood and other rock from N Dakota; quartz crystals from NC, SC, GA. Not enough fish for a fish fry dreamrocks I get the gold fish from Petsmart every couple of years when the older ones start to die off. Get the small ones for less than a quarter each. These are two and three year olds.

Beautiful pond, RickB. It looks so serene and I just love all the different rocks you have around it.

Beautiful pond, RickB. It looks so serene and I just love all the different rocks you have around it. Thanks. It's not very serene every afternoon when the goldfish flakes hit the water. The fish sound like hogs in a trough.
