So my Monday through Friday job is selling advertising for two radio stations, they've let me hang out here for 23 years. Some days I do rock stuff when sales are a bit slow... Thought I'd share a picture of how a corner of my office looks now that I've gotten into this hobby. Remember, this is just one corner. Man, I've got it bad.

miket did you bring all those rocks from home or do you have them delivered to the office so your wife doesn't see them?
That's a pretty decent sized chunk of wood right there.

Yes, Robin.
That's the wood I posted a while back from my daughter's boyfriend. He's still around.

Whoa, 'Dule! Did you find that one? How big is it? That's a Xmas colored stone if I ever saw one. Beautiful! That's another one of my beach pebbles that I tumble polished in a 12 lb rotary. It's is 2.5" x 1.5" x 1" and weighs 4.3 oz. I'm glad you like it :) I'll have to set up my microscope and try to get some pics of the plumes.

So my daughter went to Brainerd, MN with her boyfriend and his family. Of course I said look for lakers since his relatives have a cabin by a lake...and since I've never been there I said look around if you go to a store. She just sent me these pictures.
Yeah, I think I can work with those.
Might not be as fun as hounding them but still.

Jason, I'm sure Mike will relish them. Laughed out loud on that one! I had to give a little grief to miket - ONLY because this is what's sitting on my kitchen counter. LOL

Thats in my neck of the woods. Right now ice is just going out so it's kind of hard to look for Lakers on the shore, plus it depends on what lake. Should of told her to come see us.

Dang, I should have! They're visiting his family for a couple of days so probably not enough time now. Maybe next time...

I prefer to preserve my agates/rocks in zippie freezer bags, lol. I do have a small jar of Opals in water, as that was how it was when I got it. miket Those are some nice Lakers.
