Watching the birds and squirrels with my cup of coffee is the way I like to start the day.

The apartment where I live happens to be on the edge of a golf course and yesterday I saw this squirrel going nuts on a golf ball. Like a cat playing with a toy, rolling all over the place with it. Never seen that before lol

Fort Sisseton’s cannon in NE SD. Circa 1862. I’m camping here tonight hoping to do some fishing this weekend. Wish me luck, I need it!

Our trip to Custer a couple weeks ago. This little guy seemed like he wanted his ears rubbed.

Who still has their High School Class Ring? Yes, I am showing my age with this. I am afraid of cleaning it. The base metal is something called Ultrium. A form of stainless steel. My initials and center piece are brass. The center, metal piece is attached to the stone with a pin. The stone is Amethyst with an iridescent piece of something under it to create the rainbow effect. I have used a soft toothbrush with nothing on it to clean some of it. Any other suggestions for cleaning?

I never got a class ring and I graduated 23 years ago I would try some baking soda & water mixed into a paste. It cleans almost everything I've ever used it on, however I don't know about stainless steel though I can't see it harming the metal at all. I've used it to clean tarnished metal before and it worked amazing, just make sure you rinse really well. An ultrasonic cleaner would be another option but I don't have any experience there.
