That Pietersite is on fire! Holy smokes.
They are all beautiful (of course), but the Amy Sage and the OJ get extra credit!

Amazing work, Paul! Have you considered publishing a book of your photography with mineral identification information? You have such fine examples of both material and cutting, and you display it in a manner that I think qualifies it as art. I think that a book of your work would have great appeal to lapidarists and stone lovers in general (and maybe coffee tables, too ). Seriously. I'd buy a copy.

Amazing work!!!! Gotta ask what’s the trick to getting the inside curve so well? I’ve tried many times with very little luck. Usually comes out almost straight.

Amazing work!!!! Gotta ask what’s the trick to getting the inside curve so well? I’ve tried many times with very little luck. Usually comes out almost straight. So.. Inside curve? Grab the ball on the seams ,and start your wind Up and bring your arm down from the 12 to six position Let your fingers push the seam to rotate the ball Clockwise if you are right handed...and counter clockwise If you are left..😊 Do not attempt this at too young of age, or you will ruin your arm. Cut you preform a bit bigger on the flat side, Hold it on your course wheel at the 4oclock Position until your cab takes ghe same shape as the Wheel itself, the longer the cab? The more pronounced The curve will be, thats why you will see alot of my Pieces with these stupid long tails, Make sure you are at least 50mm or more From top to bottom, maybe a little less if you have 6” wheels? I would like to try it on a 4” wheel? Could probably get a good swoop. Oh yeah, dont try it with soft material Or you will be 😞 sad Jasper, and agates work best. Also? Dont expect siversmiths to Wait in line for your pieces, They hate points and tails, and me!! Lolol P.S. i really have not one clue what i’ m doing! Time to go to work! Have a great day!
