Started working this Fairburn tonight and I really want to cab it... But here's the back and it's making me wonder if I should tumble it instead... Pretty sure I'll just cab it.

You can cab it as a two-sided cab.

It would be a perfect 2 sided cab.

Cab it. It's early and I may not be awake enough yet, but I don't see anything overly attractive about the back side.

Cab it. It's early and I may not be awake enough yet, but I don't see anything overly attractive about the back side. I think I am going to. This is one that my son cut and it's really thick. The patterns on the backside are revealing themselves more the more I grind on it to get it flat and a little bit thinner. I'm grinding it on the bottom to lessen the amount of grinding I need to do on the front to shape it so that I don't lose much of the pattern that it has- and to flatten it, of course. I didn't get much time to work on it last night (High School basketball season), but I should today at lunch. Thanks Robin.

Thanks, it's in the rotary now. I'm happy that I didn't lose much of the patterns, and these usually take a good polish.
