I'm done cutting the Biggs and need to soak the large slab off the board. I cut it relatively even 3/8+ to 3/16. I found two scenes on the first piece and the rest is land fill.

Land fill??? Omg you gotta be kidding me. Tumble it or something. The two slabs on the left of the previous picture are dark and mottled with no attractive pattern. I don't tumble and the material polished would be polished ugly. I bought the piece after wining the auction on the large piece and with combined shipping it was inexpensive. When I buy faced rough or slabs I look for scenes and I saw two and got two. I was hoping for more in a pound of material.

Save them for me until you get a SFRB full please ^_^ Ok. I'll start putting what I won't work on in a cigar box. Some that is what I consider landfill and some that I am not interested in selling.

On poundage, I have a lot more than I will never cut than I have to work on. I have sold or given away some in the past, but most if it just sits there. I throw away very little; only what I consider having no value, but maybe it's not my decision to make.
