These are the best of the bunch, they came out kinda shiney. I had to buff them out on a buffing wheel to make them a little better. I might have taken them out a little too soon, i am still learning !!

Looks shiny and beautiful to me. I love Jade. I'll have to try it sometime.

It looks very nice, how long did you leave it in the polish? If I may ask, where did you get it, it looks like it was nice rough to start with.

I left these in polish / rapid polish / flour / sawdust for 6 days. I had to stop because my barrel started leaking, for the second time this week. I might have to replace it. I found these scuba diving of the big sur coast.

Hi " Neph"
Your jade looks pretty good.
I don't think Rapid Polish is doing them justice though.
Jade is a soft material and something like chrome oxide should bring them to a much better luster.

I found these scuba diving of the big sur coast. That's quite a recipe, I've never heard of using flour in a barrel. Doesn't the sawdust just soak up the water? Cher

This was the first time in final polish after 10 weeks of various tumbling. If i had to do it again i wouldn't use the flour, i had to use a lot of water. Like i said the rocks didn't come out real shiney as i had to use a cloth buffing wheel to make them look better.

Wow, those came from Big Sur? One of these days I'll have to go out there with you. Can you find pieces like these on land? I'm not one for swimming in the ocean. Those look really nice. Tom is right about the chrome oxide polish, I've heard other people say it was good for jade. I think KD might have some to sell. She wasn't thrilled about the green mess it made.

Looking good! Next time try Sugar in the final stage- Makes a much nicer slurry- I used sawdust 1 time and I hated it- Worse than Plastic pellets mess wise
