I participated in Imgur's Secret Santa for the first time this year. I didn't have any Rock jewelry to send My giftee my my Santa gave me 3 lbs of grit  And a sack of Hypnotic Apatite from Madagascar  I will definitely be tumbling these in the next go round, I even saved the dust from the bag incase my concrete scheme works. |

Perfect present, all I got was a lump of coal.....wait maybe its Jet. yeah, even at 33 I am just a big little boy. you give me a rock for Halloween like charlie brown? sweet, I'll tumble it. give me coal for and switches for Christmas? awesome, I'll burn them in the forge. Grinch comes by and steals my Christmas leaving only some hooks and some wire? feed it to the forge. it occurred to me a while back that my hobbies really boil down to taking ugly or common things and making them beautiful or useful: rock tumbling, Blacksmithing, charcoal making |
